As I helped the company Geek Bomb rebrand to MBC, It meant that a new merch line would be launched with this rebrand. Using ideas from staff and the community I created a range of different designs using imagery and quotes that the community would recognize. Using the MBC colour palette of the blue and purple I have tried to create products that would look well on t-shirts, hoodies, totes and mugs. It is essential that the design looks cohesive throughout the different products.
Using a third party site to upload and sell our products, I had to make sure that each design fit the schematics of that product. Thus I had to re-do some of the typography as it looked too elongated on some product. Choosing the text was important as you want it to be interesting but also readable when it is printed
