During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in an exchange programme in Vancouver, Canada. This experience exposed me to a different creative industry and marketing landscape, giving me insight into how design practices vary internationally. It strengthened my ability to adapt quickly to new environments while broadening my skills in web design, visual communication, and user-focused design. Working in an international setting encouraged me to create designs that resonated with diverse audiences and challenged me to think from new perspectives.
Alongside my degree, I worked as a freelance graphic designer, collaborating with a wide range of clients across different industries. Freelancing taught me the importance of clear communication, understanding each client's individual requirements, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. It strengthened my organisational and time management skills while allowing me to develop creative solutions under tight deadlines. Throughout this work, I discovered a passion for incorporating illustration into my designs, often using custom digital illustrations to create distinctive visual identities and engaging creative outcomes.
I am currently working as a Graphic Designer at Eclipse Global, a creative event production company. My role spans a broad range of disciplines, including print design, digital content, wayfinding, and website design. The fast-paced nature of the events industry has strengthened my ability to manage competing priorities while consistently delivering work to deadline. As Eclipse operates globally, I have also had the opportunity to work on-site at international events, where adaptability, teamwork, and effective communication with both colleagues and local production crews are essential.
Working on a diverse range of projects has also enabled me to expand my skill set into 3D design—an area I have always been passionate about. These opportunities have allowed me to grow as a designer, become more versatile, and continually develop new creative and technical skills.
